Job's Daughters International

Picture
Job's Daughters International™ is a premier organization for young women  that provides a wholesome environment based on the foundation of high morals,  love of country, love of family and friends and respect for others throughout  the world. It is a living organization
dedicated to meeting the needs of young  women today and their challenges of tomorrow. It is a quality organization that fosters a sense of pride in achievement for each and all  members as they prepare to become the adult leaders of the future.

Young women between the ages of 10 and 20, who are related to a Master Mason in good standing, may join Job's Daughters. At the age of 7, girls can join the Jobie-to-Bee program. This allows girls to become involved in the fun activities and meet other Daughters prior to formally joining the order.

Teachings of Job's Daugthers
Job's Daughters respects and values:
  • Love of God
  • Respect of flag and country
  • Respect for parents, guardians and elders
  • Kindness to fellow man
Bethel meetings are run democratically using Roberts Rules of Order. The Daughters elect the top five officers for a six month term of office, with the Honored Queen presiding over the meetings.

The HIKE (Hearing Empaired Kids Endowment) Fund, Inc. is the philanthropic project of Job's Daughters International. At least twice a year Maryland's Job's Daughters join together to raise funds for this project. Each Honored Queen selects a charity for her term and some choose to use HIKE.
